My stay at The Dominick was quite enjoyable, underpinned by stunning views and great service. though I did face a few minor hiccups with amenities. The location proved to be an oasis, perfectly positioned near vibrant neighborhoods like SoHo and Greenwich Village. However, I felt that some aspects, like complimentary coffee and Wi-Fi, could have been better aligned with the hotel's premium pricing.

Rooms

I stayed in the SoHi Two Bedroom suite and the views were simply amazing, with large windows showing off the skyline. The room was spacious and the beds exceptionally comfy, though I noticed some wear and tear that could use attention.
Service
8.0
The staff really stood out, especially Dominick, who was very helpful and friendly. Check-in was smooth, and I appreciated the warmth and professionalism of the team. but I was disappointed to learn that some expected perks weren't available due to booking through a third party.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, just steps away from SoHo and other buzzing areas, offering a peaceful escape from the chaos of midtown. It's also conveniently near the subway, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed in-room dining, and the food was delicious, but it was a bit pricey. I also wished the complimentary coffee quality matched the rest of the upscale offerings in the hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities included a gym that was really nice, but I felt the Wi-Fi should be complimentary as is expected in premium accommodations. They had a range of useful services, although some enhancements felt lacking considering the room price.

I had an very nice experience at The Dominick Hotel; the staff were extremely welcoming, and my room had a amazing view of the city. The location in SoHo was perfect for exploring nearby dining and shopping options. However, I found the lack of privacy in the bathroom a bit awkward, as there wasn’t a door separating it from the bedroom.

My SoHi view room on the 41st floor was spacious and thoughtfully designed. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows that offered stunning views, especially while relaxing in the tub. The bed was incredibly comfortable, but having no door to the bathroom made for a lack of privacy.
Service
9.0
The service throughout my stay was really good. The friendly doormen and attentive room service made me feel at home. They even surprised my daughter with a birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. However, there was one instance with a rude concierge that stood out negatively.
Location
10.0
The hotel is ideally situated in SoHo, within walking distance of fantastic restaurants and shops. I loved being close to Dominique Ansel Bakery and Trader Joe's across the street. This location really allowed me to dive into the local scene while keeping away from the busyness of Times Square.
Dining
8.0
Room service breakfast was fantastic, delivering all three mornings in under 20 minutes. The pastries and coffee were delicious, but I found that the complimentary coffee provided in the room didn’t match the high quality of the rest of the hotel.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers great amenities like a rooftop pool and a well-equipped gym. Everything was well-maintained, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like turn-down service with chocolates. Although, I did find the waiting time for elevators to be frustrating at times.

5.2/10

My stay at The Dominick was a mixed bag. While the views from my room were amazing and the location was perfect for exploring SoHo, I was disappointed by the quality of the room and amenities for the price. Overall, it felt like the hotel missed the mark on providing a truly luxurious experience. 😕

Rooms
6.0
The room offered stunning views, but felt shabby and outdated with thin towels and an uncomfortable bed. The shower had low water pressure, and the lack of a door separating the bedroom from the bathroom felt awkward.
Service
5.0
Service was hit-or-miss; while some staff were pleasant, others seemed disorganized, particularly regarding cab arrangements during a rainy morning.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is great, just a short walk from attractions in SoHo, but it could be a bit noisy at times. The subway is easily accessible for commuting around New York City.
Dining
7.0
Dining was expensive, and service was slow during breakfast. While the food quality was high, it felt overpriced for what we received.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities such as the pool area were nice, but I expected better quality toiletries and room amenities for the price I paid.

I had an enjoyable stay at The Dominick Hotel, notably for its spacious rooms and amazing views. The location in SoHo is perfect for exploring, though I encountered some issues with service and the need for room updates. While I appreciated the staff's friendliness, my experience with the concierge was less than ideal and there were minor cleanliness concerns. Overall, it's a solid choice in NYC, but there are areas for improvement.

Rooms

My room was spacious and clean, offering amazing views of the city. However, the bathroom configuration was a bit awkward and the decor felt slightly dated.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly, which was great. However, I had significant trouble connecting with the concierge for planning activities, and housekeeping could have been more efficient.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in SoHo is fabulous! It’s near excellent restaurants and just a short ride away from major attractions, making it easy to navigate around the city.
Dining
7.0
Room service was a highlight for me, allowing me to enjoy a meal in comfort. The breakfast experience could use improvement, as the waitstaff were somewhat indifferent.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers a decent range of amenities like complimentary coffee in the mezzanine and room service. However, the destination fee felt unnecessary given the limited extras.

My stay at The Dominick Hotel was nice, thanks to the stunning views and the supportive staff. I was welcomed warmly by Crystal, who made our arrival special with good treats. While the amenities could be improved, particularly the dining options, I truly enjoyed the spacious room and the great service. I'll definitely consider returning for another visit in the future.

Rooms

The studio room I stayed in was beautifully designed with contemporary furnishings and offered amazing views of the city. The beds were super comfy, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.
Service
10.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Gabriela, in particular, ensured that my stay was really good, and every interaction I had with the team was positive.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic—right in the trendy SoHo neighborhood, making it easy to find great food and shopping nearby. Plus, it’s conveniently close to subway stations.
Dining
7.0
I had higher expectations for dining, particularly as the restaurant was closed without notice and the breakfast I did have was overpriced. I ended up opting for local spots instead.
Facilities
8.0
While the facilities were decent, I found the amenities a bit minimal. A more effective dining option could enhance the overall experience, and maybe a bar for evening relaxation would be nice.
